Gameboy, Golf, and a Shimano Reel

This was a great great day and I remember it fondly.

The big hauls of the day were the Samsung active 3D glasses that I picked for $1 which ended up selling for $34.99. I got both Nintendo DS systems and all the games for $18. I believe they ended up selling for about $80 each.

Dat Jedi Build-a-Bear Tho

Some mediocre finds on this day. The pirate ship ended up being parted out. Paid $5, sold the trap door, figures, and accessories for more than $20. I also had someone reach out to me wanting only to buy the Obi-wan Jedi robes of the blue Build-a-Bear.

Welcome to Spooky Town!

HUGE HUGE score on this day. So I pull up to this old couple sitting outside their garage with tables set up. As I approach, I see boxes. ALWAYS an attention getter. Boxes mean money.

I quickly realize that this old couple is getting rid of all of their Halloween decorations… like all of them. The husband must have told his wife to get rid of all that Halloween crap because everything was on the table. So I begin researching what is up with these Spooky Town houses and quickly realize two things: 1) they don’t make these anymore and 2) they are valuable.

I ask the wife what she wants for them. $15 for the small ones $30 for the big ones. I ended up getting the entire Halloween lot for $60. The find of the day was “The Wheel of Horror” ferriswheel. It alone sold for $300 + shipping.

Still to this day it is the best find I’ve had.

Yardsale and Mountain Biking

The find of the day was the pictured Fender guitar wall metal sculpture. Picked it up for $1 and ended up selling it for roughly $50. After I was done yardsaling, me and the guys went mountain biking on Monte Sano mountain.
