Welcome to Spooky Town!

HUGE HUGE score on this day. So I pull up to this old couple sitting outside their garage with tables set up. As I approach, I see boxes. ALWAYS an attention getter. Boxes mean money.

I quickly realize that this old couple is getting rid of all of their Halloween decorations… like all of them. The husband must have told his wife to get rid of all that Halloween crap because everything was on the table. So I begin researching what is up with these Spooky Town houses and quickly realize two things: 1) they don’t make these anymore and 2) they are valuable.

I ask the wife what she wants for them. $15 for the small ones $30 for the big ones. I ended up getting the entire Halloween lot for $60. The find of the day was “The Wheel of Horror” ferriswheel. It alone sold for $300 + shipping.

Still to this day it is the best find I’ve had.´╗┐

Yardsaling with Brad (again) and Church Rummage

Brad went yardsaling with me again. We hit up a church rummage sale and racked up on a few good finds. The iPods and the Gameboy were actually found in a yardsale in my neighborhood. When I found them in the bottom of a box in the corner, and the seller only wanted $10 for both iPods and the Gameboy, Brad and I heard a guy behind me say, “Well there goes the best deal of the day.”

The find of the day is undoubtedly the Mah-Jongg set. Purchased from a lady for $20. Sold for $150. It took a few months to find a seller but it was certainly worth the wait.
