Good Thursday morning to you chaps and chappettes!
I have not uploaded a new video in a minute, so I figured I’d post a text update on where I am right now. I’ve still been picking and selling locally and recently I’ve gotten into collecting Nintendo games and consoles. I guess I just kept seeing cool Nintendo stuff come in and out of my house and finally I broke. Now I can’t part with some of it.
For whatever reason I’m really drawn to SNES and N64 games. I just picked up a pristine in the box Jungle Green Nintendo 64 the other day. The guy I bought it from says he played it 2-3 times, put it back in the box, and stuck it in the closet. It now resides inside of a plastic garbage bag inside of my collection box. One day when I move and have more space I plan on displaying my collection in my office… maybe I’ll build some display cases to show it off.
Now I’ve turned my attention to collecting N64 games complete in the box. So far I have Goldeneye 007, Mario Kart 64, and Zelda Majora’s Mask, complete in the box. I have Mario Party 1 CIB coming in the mail in a few days, got a steal on it off Amazon. Hopefully it’s in as good of condition as it seems.
I’m very much looking forward to yardsale season firing back up soon. It’s gotta be getting close!
Scammers, Scammers Everywhere!
Ok, so not really a scammer, but this guy markvart really pissed me off the other day. I sold him an original 1985 Gameboy with Dr. Mario and Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. I made sure it worked before I sent it out. So this cat gets the Gameboy and contacts me saying that it doesn’t work, that he’s tried 2 sets of batteries and it won’t turn on. I instantly figure this guy is trying to send his broken Gameboy back to me and keep my working one. So I process the return and get the Gameboy returned. I pop some batteries in, and wouldn’t you know it… fires right up. I double checked and it was my original Gameboy. I know eBay sides with the buyer 100% of the time, so I didn’t even press the issue and went ahead and processed the refund through Paypal.
Well this ungrateful dude comes on my Feedback profile and leaves me NEGATIVE feedback… WTF I mean really? And as a seller I have no feedback recourse, I can ONLY leave the BUYER positive feedback. That’s so dumb. I swear, there DESPERATELY needs to be an alternative to eBay at this point. One that appreciates its sellers, both big and small.
I’m going to try to get some video content created this weekend. I appreciate your continued support and interest in my channel!
