Welcome to Spooky Town!

HUGE HUGE score on this day. So I pull up to this old couple sitting outside their garage with tables set up. As I approach, I see boxes. ALWAYS an attention getter. Boxes mean money.

I quickly realize that this old couple is getting rid of all of their Halloween decorations… like all of them. The husband must have told his wife to get rid of all that Halloween crap because everything was on the table. So I begin researching what is up with these Spooky Town houses and quickly realize two things: 1) they don’t make these anymore and 2) they are valuable.

I ask the wife what she wants for them. $15 for the small ones $30 for the big ones. I ended up getting the entire Halloween lot for $60. The find of the day was “The Wheel of Horror” ferriswheel. It alone sold for $300 + shipping.

Still to this day it is the best find I’ve had.

Vintage Craigslist Haul and Hot Wheels

Everything but the Hot Wheels were obtained from a shady guy who lived out in the sticks of Harvest. Everything smelled like cigarette smoke. Ended up making a nice profit from the lot. I didn’t do too well on the Hot Wheels cars. I made profit, but not as much as I thought I would.

Yardsale and Mountain Biking

The find of the day was the pictured Fender guitar wall metal sculpture. Picked it up for $1 and ended up selling it for roughly $50. After I was done yardsaling, me and the guys went mountain biking on Monte Sano mountain.

Yardsaling with Brad (again) and Church Rummage

Brad went yardsaling with me again. We hit up a church rummage sale and racked up on a few good finds. The iPods and the Gameboy were actually found in a yardsale in my neighborhood. When I found them in the bottom of a box in the corner, and the seller only wanted $10 for both iPods and the Gameboy, Brad and I heard a guy behind me say, “Well there goes the best deal of the day.”

The find of the day is undoubtedly the Mah-Jongg set. Purchased from a lady for $20. Sold for $150. It took a few months to find a seller but it was certainly worth the wait.

Yardsaling with Brad and more Bob’s Bargains Finds

Yardsaling with Brad and more Bob’s Bargains finds. Amazon returns galore at Bob’s Bargains, ultra jackpot.

I believe the best find of the day was the Hulk mask and gloves that I ended up selling for 20x profit.

Oh and did you see that $.25 Bob Ross VHS collection? More like Bob Boss, amirite?

Yardsale Haul 3

On my third haul I found video games, action figures, and Minecraft.

Nothing really earth shattering profit-wise. The find of the day has to be the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game that I obtained for $5 and ended up selling for $18 + shipping.

The Haul that Started it All

Some of this was purchased from Bob’s Bargains when he was in business. Bob’s Bargains was the store that really got me interested in reselling again. Every weekend he would run a 50% off sale on Toys. I would clean him out every weekend.

The rest was found in a large action figure lot purchased from Craigslist.
